Employee Engagement at Leighs Paints 

Leighs Paints faced massive resistance to culture change from across the organisation, based on complacency, scepticism and fear. They used an employee survey to set the agenda for the changes to be addressed and senior management led the way with focus groups to demonstrate their commitment to what was happening. As a result, service and HR-related KPIs improved, including accident rates and productivity, even though head count had been reduced in the business.
