On 17th December 2013, IHG hosted the practitioner event at the Holiday Inn, Cardiff City Centre.
Despite being so close to Christmas, the event still attracted a strong turnout, with over 30 attendees, representing 15 different businesses, with a wide variety of backgrounds, including private, public and third sector organisations, from SMEs to FTSE 100 companies.
The networking event looked at what is engagement within the workplace, explored the four enablers and then focused in on some individual engagement challenges. It also showcased IHG as a case study for driving employee engagement, and introduced the Engage for Success movement to the delegates, as well as explaining how people can get involved.
The practitioner event provided a real opportunity for everyone to come together and network with like-minded practitioners, discuss challenges and share ideas relating to employee engagement.
