Strategic Narrative

In line with this, every team member receives a full strategy update every 12 months, quarterly all-hands presentations for performance, and monthly updates on KPIs.
In line with the three company values of Quality, Teamwork and Innovation, the company runs a recognition program that allows any team member to recognise another. This program, which received 247 nominations in 2025, generates monthly and annual winner and awards.
Engaging Managers
All managers in the business have completed a minimum of 2-day manager essentials programme, with most completing 6-month external leadership development programmes. All line managers are responsible for conducting Personal Develop Reviews and 1:1’s with all staff members. Included in this is an assessment against the company values.
Recrtuiment and internal promotion all links back to the company values, ensuring we have a management team that acts in line with the type of organisation we want to be – prioritising people, developing them to be at their best, and providing fulfilling work.
Employee Voice
Employee Engagement surveys are a key part of the way we operate, being conducted every 15-18 months. They provide a wide-ranging opportunity for all team members to feedback and have their say. We often run secondary workshops and focus groups on specific topics.
Outside of this we have quality committees and health & safety committees, all of which have a cross section of staff representation.
Finally, we have a very active employee improvement process, often receiving in excess of 20 improvement ideas every month.
Organisational Integrity
The biggest daily application of our values comes from our recognition system, which allows any team member to recognise anyone else for exhibiting our values of teamwork, quality and innovation. This program received 247 nominations last year. We display every nomination on our TV screens, have champions each month and a champion annually.
Our values drive everything we do from a behaviour perspective, it guides who we recruit, why we promote and how we recognise.
Our leadership behaviour framework also spells out how team members, managers and directors should live the values. Something that is integrated into everyone’s appraisals.
