Describes and provides an overview of the need and reasons for companies to adopt ‘Corporate storytelling’ or ‘narrative’ to ensure all stakeholders understand why their enterprise matters to the world. It mentions three companies that have achieved this very well: GE, M&S and IBM, through immobilising best practice narrative systems which are used as primary delivery mechanisms to ensure the company promotes its values, morality, trust and social responsibility: not only as part of reputation management, but to strengthen loyalty, reinforce shared values, and create a lasting emotional bond with all stakeholders through real connections and collaboration.
