Whilst we are agnostic about how you identify character strengths, and which tools you might use to do that. We know that individuals and organisations that continue the discussion and focus beyond the identification stage are the ones who reap the benefits.
If we focus on the strengths we have, it has a lasting effect on our happiness, our well-being and our effectiveness at work. We can’t underestimate the impact that we have on our colleagues, either. We all help positively shape other people’s characters by appreciating their strengths.
Strengths Are Like Superpowers
The science is showing us that character strengths can be learned, practiced and cultivated. Strengths are like superpowers; focusing your attention on them makes them stronger. Then if you focus on the people around you, and their strengths, it makes them stronger too.
As each of us become the best versions of ourselves and encourage others to do the same, it can lead to important changes in workplaces all across the world.
