John Smythe, Director of Engage for Change, was a speaker at the Global HR Leaders conference in Vienna, September 2013. Speaking to an audience of 200 executives, largely from territories formerly occupied by the Soviets, John addressed the importance of Leader and Employee Engagement.
John is an advocate for Employee Engagement, designing bottom up strategy and change processes for large organisations. In the workplace we are seeing a challenge to the archaic practice of command and control, and John strongly believes that employee engagement is the spirit of a new leadership.
As an ambassador for Engage for Success, in his talk, John extends the invitation to executives to be part of a movement; one committed to the idea that there is a better way to work, a better way to enable personal and organisational growth. Employee engagement inspires innovation and enables people to be successful.
