Special Guest: Ash Hickling: Co-Founder of authenticU


Ashley Hickling is the co-founder of authenticU. A consultancy working with educators and employers to drive a purposeful mindset for success. 

Ashley was born in Nottingham and moved to Manchester in 2007 to study acting at the Arden School of Theatre. After graduating from drama school, he appeared in a variety of different roles in film and theatre, including tours of Europe performing A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Jane Austen’s Sense & Sensibility.

Ashley’s experience also includes commercial roles in the Sales and Hospitality sectors, which provided the experience for launching authenticU. Ashley is an avid football, tennis, boxing and film fan. He lives in Manchester with his wife Shakira and a Labradoodle named Daisy.

In this podcast, we will be discussing how to provide a guiding sense of meaning and direction for individuals/teams to be at their most productive. We will also delve into the current culture clash between old and new styles of management – authoritarians vs people management styles etc.
