Special Guest: Emma Watson, People and Performance Manager, Formica Group Europe

Emma had worked in various roles across; Marketing, CSR and Call Centre Management before moving into HR eight years ago. Emma is a confident HR generalist focused on strategically partnering with leaders across all levels of the business, helping businesses succeed through their people.

Emma is currently working as People and Performance Manager for Formica Group Europe which has 1000 European employees. Moving from twelve years in telecommunications into a non-digital, manufacturing world was a complete culture change for Emma. Although a smaller number of employees – the challenge comes from the history embedded in the company; with deep-rooted policies and working practices which require updating and change to keep the business moving forward.

Over the years Emma has developed an undying passion for developing leadership capability, supporting people with their health and well being in the workplace and the power of CSR for employee and community engagement.

Join us as we discuss the role of HR in leading and delivering change programmes and still do ‘business as usual’ in the face of a business sale and an unprecedented multi-million pound investment in renovation and infrastructure.
