Peter’s book ‘Managing For Dummies’ sold more than 600,000 copies, and his latest book is Wait, I’m the Boss?!? – published in March 2020 by Career Press.
He is The Leadership Guy on Inc.com and for more than a decade served as Associate Editor for Leader to Leader magazine—published by the Frances Hesselbein Leadership Forum in New York City.
According to Gallup, bad bosses are the #1 reason why employees quit their jobs. I personally believe the reason why there are so many bad bosses is because they haven’t learned how to be good bosses. Most companies don’t train managers to be managers — they simply promote someone into the position and hope for the best. This is not a very effective approach. I wrote my book Wait, I’m the Boss?!? to provide new (and existing) managers with all the tools they need to be great managers.
