Radio Show #367: The Role of Individual Behaviour, Empowerment and Leadership in Setting a Culture

26 October 2020 |5:30 pm - 6:00 pm GMT

Special Guest: Tim Marsh: MD Anker & Marsh

The fact that excellence in error management is just excellence generally, and how the key lessons behind the UK’s world leading safety performance can, should, but often isn’t transferred to health, well-being and mental health management. We will be outlining a holistic, integrated and practical approach to error management and maximising empowerment and flourish – both at an individual and organisational level.

Prof Tim Marsh was one of the team leaders of the original UK research into behavioural safety (in construction) in the early 1990s, and is one of only a few Chartered Psychologists who are also Chartered Fellows of IOSH. He is considered a world authority on the subject of behavioural safety, safety leadership and organisational culture, was awarded a “President’s Commendation” in 2008 by the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and was selected to be their first ever ‘Specialist Fellow’ in 2010. He formed Anker & Marsh with Jason Anker in 2018.
Join us as we discuss how “culture is king”.
