A Skills Culture is Vital to Delivering Business Success

Join Professor Sir Cary Cooper, current President of the CIPD, as he shares how the skills agenda is business critical and the steps HR can make to stay ahead of the curve.

The shelf life of skills is getting shorter whilst organisational needs continue to evolve at pace.

To ensure long-term success HR needs to answer these key questions:

  • How do we know what skills we need now and in the future?
  • Who has the critical skills we need?
  • Where do we have skills gaps?
  • How do we better align talent for business needs?

We will be joined by leading HR academic Professor Sir Cary Cooper, CBE who will share the latest insights on the key skills required to ensure business success and how organisations can create a skills culture.

The session will give practical strategies on how to address this most pressing topic for HR.

After the event, all attendees will receive access to  free skills & resilience survey & How To video designed by the management experts at Robertson Cooper to use within their organisations. On completion of the survey, recipients will receive a personalised report, a useful way to begin your skills analysis and start the conversation within your business.  Robertson Cooper’s clients include the NHS, Warburtons, BAE Systems, Network Rail, Mace and Nestle.
