(US) How To Keep HR From Being the Employee Complaint Department
10 July 2020 |1:00 pm - 2:00 pm BST
Overview:
HR always seems to be caught in the middle between employees who complain all the time and managers who want HR to handle all the conflict and do their job.
HR professionals are viewed as the fixer between employees and their manager, employees would rather run to HR to “vent” than deal with their manager. Why? It’s easier to let HR handle it than dealing with the conflict themselves. Also, most supervisors avoid dealing with conflict so it is easier to pass this to HR.
But this isn’t good for them – or for the HR Department. So…what do you do?
Areas Covered in the Session:
• The Role of the HR Department
• How HR is Viewed by Leadership & Staff
• Common Complaint that HR
• How HR Can Position as a Resource and Not a Compliant Department
