Chaired by Shereen Williams MBE (Chief Executive of the Local Democracy and Boundary Commission for Wales), Gemma Morgan (Speaker and Leadership Coach) will capture your attention with her personal narrative of how she worked out what she chooses to stand for.
We are now facing the reality of life beyond the pandemic and its related restrictions. We are now having to come to terms with living and working with endemic COVID. It is likely, that for many, life will continue to be quite tough. Laced with fatigue, conflict, restructures, economic pressures in all sectors and within many households, we are not yet into calm waters.
Therefore, this event focuses on supporting those in leadership roles to draw on their personal courage and resilience to stay true to their leadership values, essential to engaging others to join them on their mission and journey.

The morning event will consist of:
09:15 onwards – log in and enter the room
09:30 Welcome and introduction by Shereen Williams MBE OStJ, session chair
09:40 A keynote presentation by Gemma Morgan (30minutes)
10:10 Q&A session with Gemma, facilitated by Shereen
10:30 A short comfort break
10:40 Gemma will then facilitate a reflective workshop for attendees, which will include breakout discussions. This will be an exploration of strategies, techniques to help us be resilient and brave in the face of reality, conflict, and fatigue.
11:10 Key observations by Shereen
11:15 The final session of the morning will be a conversation, Chaired by Shereen, with a small panel, entitled ‘Exploring further the role of courage and resilience in engaging leadership’.
This panel members, chaired by Shereen Williams, will include Gemma Morgan, Ben Cottam (Head of Wales, FSB Wales) and the final panelist will be confirmed soon.
