With the use of a Facilitation specialist, the MD was able to share the company vision and mission, after the senior management team recognised the need for change to ensure its survival. The IiP framework was utilised to help the company put in a new matrix structure which aided employee self-management, confidence and leadership abilities – helping them understand their own competencies. Activity based costing work was also largely used to aid employees’ understanding of the business’ running costs to ensure their focus was on outputs and profitability. Overall the whole process has enabled a culture where more effective planning, organisation, and teamwork ensues which has enabled the business build and retain global clientele through a consultative approach.
