Over a 6 month period Colt Technology Services transformed itself. Through the use of storytelling as a key communications tool, Colt was able to create a change programme which engaged its employees and detailed the passion of its people ensuring there was ‘unity for the common purpose’ by using their own employees as Champions for the cause.
Several initiatives came about to ensure its success: a fold out brochure, ‘story wall’ and ‘story map’, leadership, management and talent development programmes; all of which have helped as 81 per cent of employees now understand the corporate strategy and they have been an enabler for attracting better talent.
