The East Midlands Area Network hosted an online event in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Engineering and Nottingham Business School on ‘Shaping an inclusive future of engineering’. If you missed it, you can now watch the recording here.
The event focused on findings and recommendations from a study on equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) and explored the barriers faced by underrepresented groups. Recommendations included the importance of intersectionality in identifying and dismantling distinct barriers and the need for collaboration with community partners.
