In large organisations, organisational and leadership development interventions are often different; communicated through un-inspiring powerpoint presentations to translate the key messages, leaving individual leaders cynical.
Strategic narrative which is agreed and implemented by the senior management team can add several benefits: allowing co-creation as a group, the team can overcome any negativity and/or misinterpretation attached to the business strategy, which in turn aligns them.
The other benefit is that a simple strategic narrative provides clearer context on the vision, mission and values combined, so that the CEO can ensure he has a consistent voice, and translation is credible and real because it is based on a framework with a core message understood by all leaders.
