The East Midlands Area Network were pleased to host a session on employee voice. The session discussed the latest CIPD research led by Professor Daniel King and Professor Helen Shipton.
Helen and Daniel presented on the findings from two CIPD research reports and discussed the dynamics of voice and how it can take many forms in the workplace.
Group breakout sessions reflected on the impact of Covid on employee voice and the use of technology.
The session was well attended and there was a lot of interesting debate about a sense of loss around the lack of social conversations, but also gains in the use of technology allowing greater collaboration and involvement across networks.
