EFS East Midlands Area Network were pleased to host an event with Patrick Briône (from the IPA) who talked about key findings from their recent research on workforce engagement reporting and practices.
Findings highlighted best practice principles and recommendations. Specifically, the need for employee voice mechanisms to have breadth of coverage, depth of coverage, frequency, and substance.
Ultimately, there needs to be input from the workforce over workforce representation, and dialogue needs to be meaningful with an effective feedback loop.
