As we continue to support organisations navigating through unchartered territory and building lasting relationships with engaged employees we are looking for several volunteers with communications experience to support our Comms Hub (and our other Hubs – get in touch if you’d like to help with something else!).
We are currently looking for volunteers with the following skills:
Do you have experience in managing relationships with the media? Our Thought and Action Groups (TAGs) regularly produce content or tools that we promote into relevant media channels along with regular events held across our regions. We’re looking for someone who has a background in publicity or media relations and can help us gain greater exposure and work with TAG Leads to develop targeted communications plans.
If you are passionate about employee engagement and have a good grasp of written English we’d love to hear from you. We are always on the lookout for people who can turn the wealth of content we have on our website into copy for our case studies, social channels and blogs. This could be a great opportunity to build up your portfolio of writing, too.
We have recently audited our social media channels, have a monthly content plan and we schedule posts weekly. Now, we’re looking to step this up and create much stronger levels of social engagement within our community, if you’re familiar and comfortable using social media we’d love to hear from you.
As a volunteer, you will enjoy support from one of our Comms Hub leads and be part of our regular team get-togethers. As we are all volunteers in the movement and work virtually from home we appreciate that commitments can change, so there is no minimum weekly time commitment required.
