Start with Why, Simon Sinek (c) 2010, Portfolio Press
Book review by Presentation Impact
The reviewer is very enthusiastic about the key concept: ‘People don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it’ and the impact on employee engagement. From the book, he highlights that in order to lead, inspire, create brand loyalty or get success in presenting the individual needs to start by asking the question: why should anyone care?
The reviewer goes on to give a succinct summary including the key likes and dislikes.
He recommends the book as a support tool for the video of the same name and states that “the book takes his ideas and expands on them, showing just how it applies across a surprisingly wide spectrum of domains. He draws on some academic research for support and illustrates the concepts with well explained examples.”

This is, hands down, one of the best and most powerful books I’ve ever read in my life. I have recommended it to countless people. The fact that you’re seeking it out says volumes about your level of self-awareness as it is and this book builds on that.
