Yorkshire and the Humber Area Network were delighted to run another event following their successful launch in April this year.
We took a focus on one of the key enablers, Engaging Managers with a topic of Engaged Teams need Engaging Managers.
It was interesting to hear Naomi Thompson from Benenden Health sharing some of their research which highlighted the impact that Covid has had on managers and how much more we need to support them. Benenden have really focused on this and shared some of what they have been doing to support the wellbeing of their people and their managers.
We also had the opportunity to hear from an Engaging Manager who has been on a journey to discovering a truly authentic and inspiring self. Annie Kilburn from Swallow Dental Services shared with her some of her top tips that she has learnt through some development programmes over the last 12 months and how it has helped her to connect and engage with her team.
