The EFS Comms Hub needs a PR Lead, Social Media Lead and Copy Writers. Could that be you?
The Engage for Success Communications Hub is looking for more volunteers to help the movement publicise its outcomes and ideas.
The Comms Hub plays a key role in amplifying the EfS purpose with practical tools to increase engagement in the workplace.
We recently helped to launch our free employee Engagement Diagnostic Tool, backed by Hult Ashridge University with case studies and interviews. In June, EfS was listed as one of four internal communications blogs ‘worth your time’ by Mister Editorial and we have over 11K followers on Twitter, alongside LinkedIn channels, regular weekly and monthly newsletters, and our popular weekly podcast.
Communications Hub is currently looking for volunteers with the following skills:
Public Relations Lead
Do you have experience in managing relationships with the media? Our Thought and Action Groups (TAGs) regularly produce content or tools that we promote into relevant media channels along with regular events held across our regions. We’re looking for someone who has a background in media relations, experience pitching to the media and writing press releases.
Copy Writers
If you are passionate about employee engagement and have a good grasp of written English we’d love to hear from you. We are always on the lookout for people who can turn the wealth of content we have on our website into copy for our case studies, social channels and blogs. This could be a great opportunity to build up your portfolio of writing, too.
Social Media Lead
Someone who has experience in managing or working with a social media strategy can help us improve our levels of engagement across LinkedIn and Twitter. We have recently audited our social media channels, have a monthly content plan and we schedule posts weekly. Now, we’re looking to step this up and create much stronger levels of social engagement within our community.
As a volunteer, you will enjoy support from one of our Comms Hub leads, be part of our regular Communications Hub get-togethers and you are invited to join our monthly Core Team calls. We ask volunteers to bring their energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of fun. As we are all volunteers in the movement, we appreciate that commitments can change, so there is no minimum weekly time commitment required. But, the more you can contribute, the more we can achieve together.
