Are you interested in getting more involved with Engage for Success?
Could you help steer and co-ordinate activities for the wider movement? Are you able to attend meetings either virtually or in person in central London once a month? Then we’d like to hear from you!
We are interested in hearing from people who have a real passion for employee engagement and who have a wealth of experience to share, who can work as part of the Thought & Action Steering Group to ensure we grow our audience and influence across the UK. Therefore, we’re looking for up to four people to join the Steering Group on a voluntary basis for a term of up to two years.
To apply, please complete the application form here and return it to us at info@engageforsuccess.org by midnight on 31 October.
If you need any additional support completing or submitting your application, please email us at info@engageforsuccess.org
We’ll consider all applications in line with the Terms of Reference and the nominations/appointment process principles (please see below). We aim to reply to all applicants with the outcome by the end of November at the latest.

Steering Group Governance
The principles for the Nomination/Appointment process for selection for the Steering Committee are:
- The Steering Committee should reflect the composition of the wider EFS community.
- It should be transparent and accountable to the wider community.
- No-one should be excluded from the Steering Committee Nomination/Appointment process.
- The overriding criterion for selection will be the contribution a member can make to the work of the Steering Group. Service on the Steering Group is a vitally important role in the development of the subject of Employee Engagement; it is therefore essential that only quality candidates who can add value and work as part of a team are selected.
- Evidence of an individual’s commitment to Employee Engagement will be necessary.
- Steering Committee members must be able to attend meetings in person or by telephone.
- Any potential and/or perceived conflicts of interest must be highlighted as they become known.
